What Is MSM?
MSM, or Methylsulfonylmethane, is a sulfur-based chemical compound found in animals, and numerous plants. The chemical is often by patients to treat illnesses, such as arthritis. Produced in a laboratory, MSM is combined with other supplements, such as glucosamine or chondroitin. Besides, MSM is an eminent dietary supplement used to reduce inflammation, relieve muscular pain, and even boost immunity.
What Is Ice?
Crystal methamphetamine, renowned as “ice”, is an artificially formed stimulant drug and deduced from the infamous methamphetamine. How To Tell If Ice Has Been Cut With MSM?
If you’ve consumed pure MSM before, you might be familiar that there’s almost no difference between the two. Upon further inspection, you should be able to spot the difference. It’s worth mentioning that premium-quality crystal methamphetamine comes in layered silver.
Although it can be difficult to determine whether you’ve received pure crystal methamphetamine or a mixture with MSM, it’s still possible to tell if it has been cut. There are two methods you can use to be certain, depending on whether you’re fond of smoking or snorting;
Snorting:
Crystal methamphetamine is not robust and can be crushed under the force of your finger with ease, whereas MSM is harder and crushing it is rather difficult. Therefore, you should be able to notice if crystal methamphetamine has been cut with MSM if you crush it.
Smoking:
When smoking, you will notice that the process of melting the compound and re-solidifying it is somewhat bizarre. When it melts, it will crack and sizzle at first. After that, it will become a runny fluid and will take more time than usual to re-solidify. Also, when it does re-solidify, the patterns on the compound won’t be familiar.
If, for some reason, you are still uncertain, inhaling the vapours of the compound will give it away. It has a very displeasing flavour and the aroma is pungent.
Moreover, when purchasing crystal methamphetamine, simply taste the chemical. If you choke or are taken aback when ingesting a hint of the chemical, it’s not the pure form.
Another method to ensure that your crystal methamphetamine is pure, you can feel it in your fingers. Generally, MSM has a wet texture and tends to stick to your fingers. As a result, it evaporates rather faster when burnt in a pipe, leaving almost no smoke behind. Hence, if your crystal methamphetamine has been cut, it will exhibit similar properties.
