This is a simple inexpensive driver that provides IP control of the Roku Media players.
It is compatible with the Roku 3, HD, XD and XD-S and the Roku 2 range of media players. It provides IP control of the Roku on-screen menus and also allows you to quick launch any of the applications on the Roku via the colored or numeric buttons on the Control4 interfaces (including iOS apps).
As it's an IP driver there's no IR bug that can get dislodged and that's one less IR port you need to use on the back of the controller. Like all our drivers the cost is per project not per Roku player. So if you have four Roku players in a project you only need one license.

IR bugs may not be expensive but when you have to roll a truck to stick one back on suddenly they become very expensive. Reduce your risk - use this driver!
•Quick Launch Applications
You can instantly launch an Roku application like Netflix with a single button on a remote or other Control4 interface. You can select any available application via the driver properties. You can also launch an application via Custom Programming - enabling you to start an application from a keypad or custom button.
Limitations
There are currently the following limitations with the driver:
•Control4 2.x Only
This driver is only designed and tested with Control4 2.x. We understand that it can also be used with Contrtol4 1.8. It cannot be used with earlier versions of the Control4 operating system.
•One Way Driver Only
The driver does not allow any content browsing on the Control4 interfaces. Neither does it provide any Now Playing information. We're asking Roku nicely to enable these features - here's hoping.
Requirements
The following are required for successful deployment of the driver.
•Control4 2.0 + HC800 Controller for larger systems
The introduction of any two-way driver into a project adds to the processor load. In line with Control4's recommendations we suggest that an HC800 is used for systems of more than three rooms.
•Players Supported
The HD, XD and XD-S are all supported.
